grooviola is tasty and chock full of healthy.

Our products are a good source of:

protein

fiber

iron

manganese

Not only is grooviola delicious, it’s also packed with healthy treats:

-Oats “are a good source of soluble fiber, and are well known for their heart-healthy benefits, which include lowering blood cholesterol. The plant substances in oats may help control blood pressure. And since oatmeal helps you feel full longer, it may also help control body weight” – Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.

-Some facts about almonds, which contain heart-healthy unsaturated fats, nutrients and protein: “experts found that consuming two ounces of nuts (like almonds) a day would not increase overall weight, despite the high caloric value of nuts, and actually helped to reduce weight in the long run. In addition, nuts have also been shown to help reduce overall heart attack risk.” – Kristin Kirkpatrick, MS, RD, LD, The Doctor Oz show.

-Coconut is not only tasty and sweet. Dr. Michael T Murray, N.D., says “coconuts provide fat that is almost all in the form of health-promoting medium chain fats. Coconuts are an excellent source of manganese, molybdenum, and copper and is also a good source of selenium and zinc.”

-As for pumpkin seeds: according to Dr. Oz, this “super food” also helps you look younger and can actually turn back the clock! Pumpkin seeds are rich in magnesium (helps lower blood pressure and reduces your risk for heart attacks or stroke), contain zinc (the ultimate sex mineral, bonus! This mineral also helps the brain convert tryptophan into serotonin, which helps you feel good and helps you sleep), are rich in healthy fats, help reduce inflammation in the body and have a 0 glycemic index, which also prevents packing on excess pounds.

-Sunflower seeds pack a punch: “you’d be hard pressed to find a healthier depression-countering snack than a handful of these seeds. They’re fibery, full of vitamin E and selenium for your skin, and B vitamins and magnesium for your mood and nerves.” – Dr. Amy Wechsler, Dermatologist.

-And last, but no least, pure Canadian maple syrup (no fake stuff here!) “has potassium, calcium, zinc and manganese as well as natural phenols that are considered to provide beneficial antioxidants.” – Doreen Rodo, Registered Dietician.
